Howdy y'all! My name is Christine and I am from Frisco, Texas the lonestar state! I am currently in my second semester of college at Collin College. I will  be majoring in dance and also getting a teachers certification. I hope to transfer to the University of North Texas or Texas Women's University. I am working a part time job right now in a shoe store called Sole Footwear, and  I have been working lots of hours to help raise money for our trip this summer. In my free time, which I lack a lot of, I am usually hanging out with my boyfriend or my family. We like to go to the movies quite a bit, and also enjoy a quiet night in. I really like to travel and trying new foods, so I am very anxious to see what new kinds of food I will get to try in New Zealand! I also like country music, I guess it is part of being a Texan haha. I would have to say my talent is in dancing, I have been dancing since I was about five and have never stopped. It is definitely something I am very passionate about, I also enjoy going to see plays and musicals. I would have to say my favorite musicals are Wicked and West Side Story. As for dislikes I don't have any big dislikes really, I am a very laid back person and get along with everyone.

This is going to be my fifth mission trip to go on, I have previously been to Juarez, Mexico twice, Belize, and Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Although this will be my first long term mission trip, the other trips I went on were only for a week so this will definitely be a new experience. I am so looking forward to going though and letting Christ just take over and feed my hunger for his love. I am also a little nervous because I have never been away from home for this long let alone how far away we will be. But I have been feeling called by God to go on this trip for quiet some time now. I am just so ready to leave and get into the mission field, but I know that the other part of your mission trip is to spread God's word to your supporters and let them go on the journey with you as well.
